he work was fast and furious at the Great Purim Parcel Pro-
ject, sponsored by the Agency for Jewish Education of Met-
ropolitan Detroit's Jewish Experiences For Families.
On Saturday -
night, March 18,
families assembled
the mishloach
manot (treat parcels)
for JEFF. The next
morning, volunteers
delivered the more
than 2,600 parcels
to senior residences
and social support
agencies in the Jew-
ish community.
"The mitzvah they
performed was a
gift to each and
every recipient," said Alissa Pianin of JEFF.
