Hilary Caroline Schreiber will
become a bat mitzvah on Saturday,
March 25, at Temple Israel. She is
the daughter of Drs. Michelle and
Theodore Schreiber
and sister of David.
Excited grandpar-
ents are Serafina
and Ossias
Schreiber of New
York City and Reva
Axner.
Hilary's mitzvah
projects included
volunteering at the Danto Family
Health Care Center and at the
Temple Israel Labor Day picnic. In
addition, she raised funds for the
Michigan Jewish AIDS Coalition
and Leader Dogs for the Blind.
Hilary is an honor student at
Cranbrook Kingswood Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills, where
she plays cello in the school orches-
tra. Interested in ice hockey, she
plays goalie for the Birmingham
Rangers, and also likes swimming
and dogs.

Rachel Leah Welford will be called
to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on
Saturday, March 25, at
Congregation B'nai
Moshe. Rachel is
the daughter of Jay

ketball and snow and water skiing.
Rachel also enjoys music and read-
ing. For her mitzvah project, she
volunteered at the Jewish
Association for Residential Care.

Jason Noah Zeldes will celebrate his
bar mitzvah at Havdala services
Saturday, March 25, at Temple
Israel. He is the son of Lisa and Dr.
Jeffrey Zeldes and brother of Daniel.

Farmington Hills,
where he is an
honor student, Jason likes to sail,
play ice hockey and his electric gui-
tar: His most memorable miztvah
project was hosting a party to raise
funds for the Denby Center
Orphanage; he and his friends were
able to deliver a new ping pong table
and stuffed animals.

a bat mitzvah Saturday, March 25, at
Washington Hebrew Congregation
in Washington,
D.C.
Jenna is the
daughter of Wendy
(Bittker) and Jeff
Cossman and sister
to Allison Sara.
Proud grandparents
are Louise and Jim
Bittker of
Bloomfield Hills and Beatrice and
Samuel Cossman.
Jenna is an honor student at
Hoover Middle School in Potomac,
Md. She enjoys dance, basketball,
softball and theater. For her mitzvah
project, Jenna collected stuffed ani-
mals for homeless and abused chil-
dren and volunteered at the Hebrew
Home.
