Spencer Max Rubin will celebrate his bar mitzvah at Havdala services at Temple Israel on Saturday, March 18. He is the son of Karen and Dr. William Rubin and brother of Marshall and Ethan. An honor student at Dunckel Middle School in Farmington Hills, Spencer enjoys playing the guitar, basketball, wrestling and computer games. Zachary is the son of Gordon and Jeri Korby, formerly of West Bloomfield. Zachary is a sev- enth-grade student at Pickerington Junior High School in Pickerington, Ohio. He is a member of the junior high choir. He also plays volleyball and basket- ball for the Pickerington Youth Athletic Association. He is a mem- ber of the temple youth group. Zack volunteered at a local chil- dren's day care facility as well as made a donation to the Mid-Ohio Food Bank and Mazon as his mitz- vah project.
