Carolyn Beth Markowitz and Scott
Mitchell Werner were recently married
at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Dearborn.
Rabbi Harold Loss and Cantor Stephen
Dubov officiated.
Carolyn is the daughter of Seymour
and Audrey Markowitz of West
Bloomfield. Scott is the son of Karyn
Werner of West Bloomfield and Neil
and Cheryl Werner of Farmington Hills.
Lisa Carpenti, the bride's dearest
friend, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids
were Pamela Kay, sister of the groom,
and Hilary Goodman and Pamela

Ritter, childhood friends of the bride.
Daniel Werner, the groom's brother,
was the best man. Groomsmen were
Keith Kay, brother-in-law of the groom,
Marc Pearlman, Mark Jeross and Dr.
Brian Goldstein, lifelong friends of the
groom. Ring bearers were Zachary Kay
and Jack Henry Kay, nephews of the
groom.
Carolyn and Scott were thrilled to
have. Esther Werner, grandmother of the
groom, participate in the ceremony.
Following a honeymoon in Thailand,
the couple reside in Birmingham.

Yaker-Kushkin

Julie Beth Kushkin and Daniel Isaac
Yaker were married recently at Temple
Israel. Rabbi Harold Loss and Cantor
Harold Orbach officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Nancy
and Larry Kushkin of West Bloomfield.
The groom is the son of Elaine and
Barry Yaker of Huntington Woods.
Dana Kushkin and Karen Kushkin,
sisters of the bride, were maids of
honor. Bridesmaids were Erica Yaker,
Margie Yaker and Jennifer Yaker, sis-
ters-in-law of the groom; Laurie
Keenan, cousin of the bride; Marcy
Burnstein, Nicole Lumberg, Dana
Miller, Lisa Raznick and Robyn
Wallberg, friends of the bride.
Michael Yaker, the groom's twin
brother, was the best man. Groomsmen
were Brad Yaker and Josh Yaker, broth-

ers of the groom; Steve Goldman,
cousin of the bride; Andrew Edelson,
Greg Erber, Kevin Frankel, Howard
Krugel, Drew Saperstein and Andrew
Sommers, friends of the groom. Eli
Yaker and Jesse Yaker, nephews of the
groom, were junior groomsmen.
The ring bearer was Zachary Yaker,
nephew of the groom. Julie and Daniel
were thrilled to have the bride's grand-
parents Henrietta-Kushkin and Julius
Goldman, escorted by the bride's
cousins Marc Goldman and Jeffrey
Goldman, and the groom's grandpar-
ents Shirley and Max Wayburn, partici-
pate in the ceremony.
Following their honeymoon in
Hawaii, the newlyweds reside in
Birmingham.
