HILLEL PLAY
The eighth grade of Hillel Day
School presents a production of South
Pacific 8:30 p.m. Saturday, March 11,
and 1 p.m. Sunday, March 12, at the
Farmington hills school. Shoshana
Beider, Matt Orley, Adam Martin,
Jeremy Baruch and Sarah Schwartz
are some of the cast members.
Robin Lash produced the play,
while Sharon Schwartz directed.
Nancy Critori was the choreographer.

DANCE BENEFIT
Dance instructor Annette Bergasse is
turning a performance into a charity
benefit 5 p.m. Sunday, March 12, at
Clarenceville High School in. Livonia.
Her students at Annette and
Company School of Dance will per-
form to benefit Juvenile Diabetes and
Pediatric AIDS.
The performance also will cele-
brate the 20th anniversary of
Bergasse's dance studio. She started
out teaching a handful of students in
her Oak Park basement. Today, her
Farmington Hills location attracts
more than 1,500 dancers. For ticket

OSCAR NIGHT PARTY
The Detroit Institute of Arts
Cinematic Arts Council presents
Oscar Night America on Sunday,
March 26, at the Roostertail in
Detroit. Proceeds from the evening
will help support the Detroit Film
Theatre at the DIA.
