Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Alyssa Michele Maiseloff will be
called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah
on Saturday, March
4, at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek.
Alyssa is the daugh-
ter of Ellen and
David Maiseloff
and the sister of
Jennifer and
Stephen. Proud
grandparents are
Sylvia Maiseloff, Ilene Nemer and
Milford and Barbara Nemer. She is
also the granddaughter of the late
Philip Maiseloff.
Alyssa is an honor.student at
Hillel Day School of Metropolitan
Detroit in Farmington Hills. She
enjoys competitive dancing, swim-
ming, computers, in-line skating
and football. For her mitzvah pro-
jects, Alyssa volunteers for the
Friendship Circle, Jewish
Association for Residential Care and
the Hadassah Doll Project.

Aaron Oscar Bakalar will be called
to the Torah as a bar mitzvah at
Congregation B'nai
Moshe on Saturday,
March 4. He is the
son of Connie and
Mel Bakalar and
brother to Amy.
Proud grandparents
are Helen and
Fabian Bendel. He
is also the grandson
of the late Rona and Oscar Bakalar.
Aaron is a student at Bloomfield
Hills Middle School, where he is
involved in student leadership.
Aaron is doing his mitzvah project
by volunteering at the Holocaust
Museum and with Jewish
Association for Residential Care.
Aaron's hobbies include competi-
tive -dancing, music, art, writing,
snow skiing, tennis and attending
Camp Tanuga.

Lindsey Brooke Finn will celebrate
her bat mitzvah at
Havdala services on
Saturday, March 4,
at Temple Israel.
She is the daughter
of Gayle and Dr.
Larry Finn and sis-
ter of Erika and
Courtney. Proud
grandparents are
Eleanor and Harry
Eisen and Claire and Dan Finn.

Lindsey attends West Hills
Middle School in Bloomfield Hills,
where she is an honor student and
on the student council. She enjoys
playing the piano, tennis, skiing,
travel and camp. Her most mean-
ingful mitzvah project was volun-
teering at the Holocaust Memorial
Center; in addition, she assisted at
the Temple Israel Labor Day picnic.

Temple Israel on
Friday, March 3.
He is the son of
Lisa and Thomas
Pullman and broth-
er of Alison and
Michael. Proud
grandparents are
Gail and Kenneth
Dishell and Charles
and Ann Pullman;
excited great-grandmother is Ida
Dishell. He is also the grandson of
the late Virginia Pullman.
Adam's mitzvah projects included
volunteering at Yad Ezra and assist-
ing at Temple Israel's Labor Day
picnic. A student at Detroit
Country Day School in Beverly
Hills, Adam enjoys baseball, tennis,
basketball, snowboarding, skiing
and summers at Camp Tanuga.

on Saturday, March
4, at Congregation

is the son of Sandy
and Stewart

Ben is an honor student at
Orchard Lake Middle School in
West Bloomfield, where he plays
flute in the symphony band. He is
active in the Shaarey Zedek youth
group and attends Camp Ramah
each summer.
