SWINGTIME 2000
"Swingtime 2000," a benefit for the
Fanclub Foundation for the Arts was a
swinging success. The event, held Feb.
5, at the Fisher Building in Detroit,
raised more than $40,000 for arts
education. More than 1,200 patrons
attended the event.

Grossman, Jeffery Hyman, Jeffery
Kaftan, Andrea Morganroth, Erik

KUDOS
Dr. George Blum of Southfield
Pediatric Physicians has received the
William Montgomery Award from
Michigan Chapter of the American
Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Blum has
been in practice for more than 30
years.
"He was chosen because of his
active role in the academy and for his
advocacy work for children," says
Linda Long, the chapter's executive
director.
Dr. Blum and his wife, Joyce,
reside in Southfield, and they have
five children and 10 grandchildren.
Dr. Robert Blum, also a pediatrician,
now works with his father.

sponsored by the Bloomfield Youth
Guidance (BYG) Citizens Committee.

public, private or parochial school and
live within the Bloomfield Hills
