ILLIP KAPLAN, 80, of

He is survived by his daughter,

HAROLD KARR, 89, formerly of
Southfield of Newport News, Va.,
died Jan. 31. He was a home
improvement contractor.. Mr. Karr
was a member of Temple Beth El in
Birmingham and Rodef Shalom
Congregation in Hampton, Va. He
was a Mason, a member of the Blue
Lodge and a Shriner.
Mr. Karr is survived by his wife,
Sylvia; daughters and son-in-law,
Sherry Wolfson and Dr. Arthur
Wolfson of-Yorktown, Va., Marcy
Trice of Novi; sisters, Peggy
Weingarden, Sally Stein, Dorothy
Mellec, all of Southfield; grandchil-
dren, Matthew and Kyle Wolfson.
