HALF-TIME, 2-YEAR APPOINTMENT: Manage a
prestigious collection of Holocaust survivor interviews.
Coordinate project to transcribe interviews and make
them available to public via web site and ILL. Monitor
transcription process, including research and editing.
Participate in fund-raising activities for archive project
and to establish a permanent curator position.
REQUIRED: Master's Degree in the area of 20th century
European history and/or comprehensive knowledge of
Holocaust studies. Working knowledge of German
language. Good communication skills in English, both
oral and written. Ability to work independently and in
small-team setting. Word processing skills. DESIRED:
Working knowledge of an Eastern European language;
computer skills such as HTML. SALARY: $20,000
annually, includes benefits (vacation, sick, TIAA/CREF).
