IFS Assists
Older Adults

Jewish Family Service offers home care
services for homebound older adults
and persons with disabilities. Services
are offered on a sliding scale, based on
the person's ability to pay.
Homemaking service includes laun-
dry, light housekeeping, shopping,
errands and meal preparation.
In-home respite care provides com-
panionship, supervision and/or assis-
tance with daily living for mentally
and/or physically disabled persons.

Divorce Support
Aids Children

Jewish Family Service will hold a
March divorce support group meeting
at the JFS West Bloomfield Center for
Families. Geared toward adolescent
boys and girls, the group will meet for
eight weeks. There is no charge.
The JFS Children of Divorce pro-
gram provides positive, proactive
programs for children of divorce
who have difficulty adjusting to
their family's new circumstances. JFS
also offers a divorce support chat
room, 3-5 p.m. Thursdays, at
jfsdetroit.org

time of the adolescents' support
group, or to enroll by March 3, call

Celebrate 21st

The Margot and Warren Coville
Apartments will celebrate its 21st year
of providing Detroit's elderly with an
alternative to living in a nursing
home.
The Coville Apartments has eight
units that serve 24 residents at the
North Park Place Apartments in
Southfield.
Jewish Family Service provides, on
a sliding scale, a trained geriatric
worker who provides grocery shop-
ping, housekeeping and laundry ser- •
vices and prepares nutritious home-
cooked meals. A JFS case manager also
coordinates special, recreational and
educational programs for the residents.
