Announcements and Milestones

Birth announcements must be typewritten, double-spaced and include a day-
time phone number of the sender: Please include the date of birth, baby's name,
parents' and sibling names and cities of residence for the baby's family and grand-
parents. Announcements received by noon Thursday will be considered for the
next week's paper, but space limitations may delay publication.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah photographs must be submitted with a typewritten, double-
spaced announcement on 8-1/2" x 11" paper. Please include name, address and
yrime phone number of sender.

Engagement and Wedding announcements must be typewritten, double-spaced
and include your name, address, and daytime phone number. There is a $10
photo processing, fee. Black and white photos (5 x 7) are preferred; color photos
do not reproduce well.

Anniversary photographs must be submitted with a typewritten, double-spaced
announcement including name, address, and daytime phone number of sender.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Engagement, Wedding, and Anniversary announcements
received by noon Thursday will be considered for the following week's publics-
don. However, space limitations may delay publication. For more informa-
don please call 248-354-6060.

Obituaries are submitted to The Jewish News for those funerals handled by Ira
Kaufman Chapel, Hebrew Memorial Chapel and Dorfman Funeral Direction.
Families whose funeral has been handled by one of these homes should not con-
tact the paper to place an obituary.

Those wishing to notify the community of out-of-town deaths with a Detroit
connection must send in or fax a typed double-spaced notice.
