daughters and son-in-law, Rochelle
Sampson of Bloomfield Hills, Ilene and
Dennis Columbus of Farmington Hills;
grandchildren, Daniel, Jeffrey and Marc
Sampson and Riot, Joel and Lauren
Columbus. She was the beloved wife of
the late Henry Westheimer, the dear
mother-in-law of the late Wallace
Sampson.
Interment at Beth El Memorial Park.

EUGENE SLOBIN, 71, of Oak Park,
died Jan. 25. Mr. Slobin was a janitorial-
supply executive. He was a talented
tenor and sang with the Beth Achim
choir and other choirs throughout the
city; he also played the saxophone and
clarinet.
Mr. Slobin is survived by his wife,
Bernice Slobin; daughters, Rochelle
Slobin of Oak Park, Lisa Slobin of Oak
Park; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon
and Kenneth Singer of Farmington
Hills.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be made
to charity of one's choice. Arrangements
by Ira Kaufman Chapel.
