Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Bret Borock will become a bar mitzvah
on Saturday, Jan. 29, at Temple Israel.
He is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Mel
Borock. Proud grand-
parents are Richard
and Helen Klinder.
He is also the grand-
son of the late Paul
. and Florence Borock.
Bret is an honor
student at Orchard
Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield. He enjoys all sports includ-
ing baseball, in-line hockey, basketball,
tennis and golf He has been playing
travel baseball with North
Farmington/West Bloomfield Baseball
since 1997. He also loves camp and will
be going back to Camp Tamakwa for
his fourth summer.
His mitzvah projects included help-
ing out at Temple Israel and packing
meals for homebound seniors through
the department of special services for the
city of Farmington Hills.

Erica Julie Byer will be called to the
Torah as a bat mitz-
vah on Saturday,
Jan. 29, at Adat
Shalom Synagogue.
She is the daughter
of Rhonda and
Jerry Byer and sister
of Ashley. Proud
grandparents are
Sedell Kramer and
Albert Byer. Erica is also the grand-
daughter of the late Albert Kramer
and the late Jan Byer.
Erica is a student at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills and enjoys dancing,
basketball and attending Camp
Tamarack. Her mitzvah projects
include JARC (Jewish Association for
Residential Care) making collections
on behalf of the Orchards Children's
Services and giving to Yad Ezra.

Rebecca Terese Fealk
will be called to the
Torah as she becomes
a bat mitzvah on
Saturday, Jan. 29, at
Temple Emanu-El,
where she will lead
the service and chant
from parsha Yitro.
Becca is the
daughter of Martin Fealk of Huntington
Woods and Patti Gloss of Farmington
Hills. Her brother and sister are Zachary
and Rachel Fealk. She is the grand-
