Budai-Roggendorf

Robert and Patricia Roggendorf of
Livonia are pleased to announce the
engagement of their daughter Kerry
Amber to Robert Stephen Budai, son of
Anne Budai and Andrew and Barbara
Budai.
Bob and Kerry met at Michigan
State University, where Kerry received a
bachelor of arts degree in elementary
education and Bob earned a bachelor of

science degree in exercise science. Bob
went on to receive a master's degree in
physical therapy from the University of
Michigan and is working as a physical
therapist in Bloomfield Hills. Kerry is a
second-grade teacher in Livonia schools
and is earning her master's degree in
curriculum and teaching from Michigan
State.
A February wedding is planned.

Lawrence Lerner and Sandra Lerner,
both of Southfield, and Susan and
Melvyn Friedman of West Bloomfield
are delighted to announce the engage-
ment of their children Jennifer Leah
Lerner and Lowell Scott Friedman.
Jennifer earned a bachelor of arts
degree from the University of Michigan
and a master's degree in school and
community psychology from Wayne
State University, where she is a Ph.D.
candidate in educational psychology.

She is employed as a psychologist in the
Walled Lake School District.
Lowell earned his bachelor of arts
degree from Michigan State University's
Eli Broad College of Business and his
juris doctor from the University of
Detroit-Mercy School of Law. He is an
associate with the law firm of Frimet
and Rogalski PC in Southfield.
Jennifer and Lowell are planning a
June wedding at Congregation B'nai
Moshe.
