are honored
once again.

"It was unbelievable," said Nancy Myers. "When
we got to LaGuardia [Airport], we were greeted
with a round-trip limousine, a beautiful fruit basket

The manager of the Waldorf Astoria was
astounded to learn the Myerses had proof of
their honeymoon stay. The staff of the Martin
Beck Theatre, which had no archival informa-
tion on performances from so long ago, was
thrilled to see the Myerses' playbill.
"When we got to New York, the staffs of
both places copied all the materials we showed
them," Marty Myers said.
The Waldorf management housed the cou-
ple in a two-room suite and honored them
with their first night at 1949 prices.
The theatre staff gave them free tickets for
front-section, aisle seats and the couple got to
meet the cast.
Their trip was covered in the Northwest
Airlines' in-house publication Passages and they
were also featured in the Living Section of the
hakespeare's old adage
"the play's the thing"
