Bar-Ilan University, its officers,
faculty, and Detroit Friends deeply
mourn the sudden passing of

Dr. Milton Shiffman'`

An honorary alumnus of the University, creator of the Milton and Lois

Shiffman Program in Clinical and Basic Research Collaboration, the

Milton and Lois Shiffman Distinguished Visiting Scientist Fund, and a

member of the University's local, national, and global boards, Milton

will be terribly missed by the entire Bar-Ilan Family. His, and his dear

Lois' efforts in countless other aspects of Jewish life, particularly

education, are irreplaceable.

Milton's untimely passing leaves a void at Bar-Ilan, and in the entire

Jewish world. He has left a family legacy of concern, caring, and

commitment and may G-d grant his family the consolation of his great

works on behalf of the Jewish people.
