Louis and Paula Glazier of Bloomfield
Hills are pleased to announce. the
engagement of their daughter Ilana
Nicole to Lowell Richard Schmeltz,
son of Ralph and Sheila Schmeltz of
Pittsburgh, Pa. Ilana is the grand-
daughter of Bess and Moishe Glazier
of Farmington Hills, Reva Lazarus of
West Bloomfield and the late Herbert
Lazarus.
Ilana earned her bachelor of arts

degree in economics and Judaic stud-
ies from the University of Michigan.
She will graduate in June from the law
school at the University of Chicago.
Lowell earned his bachelor of sci-
ence degree in computer science from
the University of Michigan. He is in
medical school at the University of
Pittsburgh.
A June wedding is planned at
