to store recycled and flood waters in
the Negev, the Galilee and the Jordan

Other important JNF projects

research and development for agricul-
ture — Israel is about 80 percent self-
sufficient in food production; preven-
tion of forest fires (JNF helps fight
about 1,000 fires yearly); continuing
community development; boosting
recreation; and promoting tourism.
