SIDNEY COHEN, 88, of West Bloomfield, died Jan. 8. Mr. Cohen was an auditor for the Michigan Employment Securities Commission and Grant and Silverman Accounting Firm. He was a World War II army infantry veteran and a POW for 10 months in Germany. He was also a life member of Temple Beth El, past treasurer of the brotherhood and a past treasurer of the Beth Elders. Mr. Cohen is survived by his son, Allan Cohen of Florida; daughters and sons-in- law Linda and John Schoen of Alabama, Judy and Peter Evans of Waterford; grand- children Alanna, Diane and Darren Schoen, Derek and Richard Evans; sister Sarah Fridenberg of West Bloomfield; sis- ter-in-law Jeannette Cohen of West .
