Family Fun - Ways to Explore Torah Together

We are a people united by concepts and values derived
from the Torah. This course will explore ways of studying
Torah as a family and discover how easy, fun and fulfilling
studying together at home with our children and
grandchildren can be.

Torah, Haftarah and Megillot: Cantillations

This course will teach you how to recognize and chant the
"trop" (the musical notations) for the different melodies of
the Torah, Haftarah and Megillot.

Past, Present and Future

My Israel: From an Outsider Looking In,
To an Insider Looking Out

Our community shaliach will trace the path that led him to
Israel and to Tashkent, in the former USSR, as shaliach. He
will also discuss the past and future of his kibbutz home
and address the issues facing Israel in its second 50 years.

Three national Jewish leaders analyze the origins of the
organized Jewish community, its role in our times and the
goals for the future.

This term will cover the founding of Hasidism, the first

This workshop is a hands-on introduction to the Internet for
parents, teachers and students. Topics will include Judaic-
based Internet, Hebrew on your computer and the Internet,

Yoga and Meditation Classes in Order to

The class will discuss the nature of Jewish life in the
medieval period in order to understand the emergence of
modern Judaism. Discussion will consider the process of
emancipation and the responses to modernity that were
created in the 19th and 20th Centuries.

A mad mixture of mysticism, midrash and mishegoss
which will get you thinking about the power of Jewish
prayer, process and practice in your own life. Skeptics
