It's countdown time for many evangelical Christians who
interpret the Christian millennium as an important marker
for their theological timetable. This course will present an
overview of this important time period for Christians and
how converting Jews is a priority for many of them.

Jewish Poetry

Great Jewish poetry touches the mind, the heart and the
soul. This class will look at poems, both secular and
religious, from the Biblical to the modern period.

Hasidism and Its Place in Jewish History (Part 2)

This term will cover the development of Hasidism from its
origins to the present; specific features, doctrines and ideas
of Hasidism; and Hasidic tales, stories and legends of the

One People, Many Opinions:
Pluralism in Jewish History

Today there are many options in Jewish life, but
throughout Jewish history there have been many different
opinions about what it means to be Jewish. In this course,
we will explore them and ask what modern Jewish
pluralism holds for the future.

God, Sex and Judaism

In an in-depth exploration of Jewish attitudes toward sex from
the Torah, Talmud and modern-day commentaries, the class
will examine issues of modesty, health and safety, love, fidelity
and holiness through the rabbi's lecture on intimate relations.

Jewish Response to Missionaries

Rock Around the Clock - Ahhh...Jewish Music

This course will deal with key questions and answers needed
to respond to missionaries and the traps set by them for
uneducated or misinformed Jews. The Chanukah and
Christmas issue will be one of the subjects discussed.

Join as we come together to sing music that we know and
love. Participants will learn songs that take them on a
musical journey of Jewish music through the Jewish year.
Students need only a love for music, a will to learn and a
desire to have fun!
