Southfield, died Dec. 23. Mrs.
Levitt was a sewing machine opera-
tor who, because of her expertise,
sewed designer samples.
She was an Eastern Star, active
with the Jewish War Veterans, a vol-
unteer at the Southfield and Oak
Park civic centers, a volunteer librar-
ian and office worker at McDonnell
Towers and worked on its newslet-
ter, the Scribe, was a member of
B'nai B'rith and received an honor
by Our Lady of Fatima Seniors
Group.
Mrs. Levitt is survived by her son
and daughter-in-law, Ted and Jill
Levitt of Texas; daughter and son-
in-law Gail and Alan Perlmuter of
Southfield; grandchildren Brian and
Lucy Levitt, Lisa and Alan Cooper;
great-grandchildren Angelina, Ryan,
Avery, Jacob, Hannah, Benjamin,
Sarah and Joshua; sister Helen
Erenstein.
Mrs. Levitt was the beloved wife
of the late Robert Levitt and the
dear sister of the late Walter
Goldfarb.
Interment was at Machpelah
Cemetery. Contributions may be
