The Jewish community of Bermuda
is delighted with the arrival of U.S.
Counsel Larry Owen and his wife,
Faylene. "Within just a few weeks of
their arrival from Michigan, Larry and
his wife, Faylene, hosted our entire
community [150 people] at the official
residence of the Consul General," wrote
Randi Cunningham, president of the
Jewish community of Bermuda to the
Jewish News. The Owens included the
Jewish community in the "interfaith"
Thanksgiving service, which was a first-
time event in Bermuda.
"I want you to know about the
positive contributions to Jewish life
that are being made by two of your
Michigan 'exports' to our small island
in the middle of the Atlantic ocean,"
added Cunningham.
