When the sun rises, but you are not there to see
Our eyes fill with tears each time we think of you
An angel came and took you by the hand to heaven far above
You knew you had to leave behind your children that you loved

We think of all the yesterdays
And often reminisce
We think of all the love we shared
And all the fun we had

If we could relive yesterday
Just even for a day
We would have you sing the songs you so loved
While you danced around the room
We would write down your recipes for cocoa cake and more,
But most of all the recipe that made you the mother you were

We do the best we can each day as you taught us to
But when each day starts without you sorrow seems to find its way

ANNA SINGER, 90, of Oak Park,

We know yesterday will never come again
So we hold on to the memories we treasure of you

You will always continue to live within our hearts even though we are apart
And with each passing day we remember the wonderful mother you were
