Dancers Perform
At Anniversary

Former dance students and dance
artists from throughout the country
will perform in celebration of Harriet
Berg's 40th anniversary of teaching,
dancing and directing at the Jewish
Community Center of Metropolitan
Detroit and the 35th anniversary of
her Festival Dancers at 4 p.m. Sunday,
Dec. 5, at the JCC's Kahn Building in
West Bloomfield.
Works to be performed and artists
to appear are:

Joanne Tucker, performed by the
Festival Dancers
• "Dance and Poetry," performed
by Beth and Hughthir White; reader
Martin Berg
• "Upswept," choreography and
performance by Aimee McDonald

ographed by Harriet Berg and Michele

Mostaghim, performed by the Festival
Dancers
• "A Musical Gift," guitar duet,
Leslie Berg and David Mandiberg
• "Psalm," music by Tinhat Trio,

Peter Sparling
• "Skots Kumt," choreography by

Maraire, performed by the Kronos

Martin Berg will be master of cere-
monies. Films of past events and per-
formances will be shown. A special
75th-birthday cake will complete the
festivities.

International Dental Congress April
30-May 2 in Jerusalem. The theme
