The Executive Director is responsible for all operations and pro-
gramming of a recently expanded 45,000 square foot JCC,
which includes a 130 student early childhood center, youth pro-

Job Description

Title: Executive Director

General Summary: Accountable to the JCC Board of Directors and its

membership, responsible for programming, fiscal management and
operations of the Jewish Community Center of Washtenaw County.

The JCC Executive Director

1. Is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the Jewish
Community Center in fulfilling its mission as defined by the Board of
Directors.
2. Works directly with the JCC Board of Directors, Jewish Federation and
other Jewish organizations as well as the community at large.
3. Assists the Board of Directors in identifying and developing lay leader-
ship.
4. Supervises key administrative staff, including the Early Childhood Center
Director, Youth Director, and Older Adult Director providing guidance,
assistance and technical support.
5. Establishes and supervises the development of the budget and the
maintenance of all records, systems and administrative procedures, includ-

6. Responsible for the development
of resources.
7. Insures the safe and efficient main-
tenance of the facilities.
8. Coordinates community-wide
