Jack and Aviva Robinson were
recently honored at the eighth annual
National Philanthropy Day at the
Hyatt Regency in Dearborn. National
Philanthropy Day, hosted by the
Greater Detroit Chapter of the
National Society of Fund Raising
Executives, is an opportunity to cele-
brate philanthropy and recognize
individuals and organizations who
make a difference. "It isn't enough to
simply make a living in a community.
It is also important to make a differ-

deep conviction that those who are
privileged to enjoy prosperity have a
moral obligation to help improve the
economic positions of others less for-
tunate.
Chaper president Myrna Jacobs
greeted the guests. Gary Dembs, a
co-chair, gave the introduction.
