klezmer, did some Jewish
cooking and heard Jewish
stories at its first Heritage
Night of the programming
year.
Eighty youth participated
in the Nov. 21 program at
the Jewish Community
Center in West Bloomfield.
Rabbi Ahron Davidson dis-
cussed the history of Yiddish
and some common phrases;
klezmer music was provided
by Georgia Greene and
Jessica Madow of Ann Arbor;
Arlene Weitzman and Eunice
Michelson provided some
Jewish treats; and the stories
came from storyteller
Corrine Stavish.
