Festival Of Lights

As Jewish holidays go, it's considered minor,
although a commemoration of a great war victo-
ry. Still, Chanuka is one of the most popular of
all celebrations on the Jewish calendar. _Our holi-
day coverage runs throughout today's issue.
Also inside: Our traditions, history and cul-
ture are filled with information some might
describe as trivia, amusing lists or brainteasers,
but to others might be educational, thought pro-
voking or even worth a quest for more learning.
Our new feature, AlefBet'cha Can't Name...? (on
page 135) by Goldfein, is designed to be both
entertaining and educational. We welcome your
comments.

Shabbat Shalom!
