Sarah is an honor student at
Warner Middle School in
Farmington Hills and enjoys reading
and math. Some of her mitzvah pro-
jects involved volunteering at Yad
Ezra and Camp Betman, a Hebrew
camp for younger Shaarey Zedek
students. Sarah also visited the
elderly at a local nursing home and
has been a volunteer for the Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan Detroit
for the last several years.
Sarah began celebrating her bat
mitzvah with a family mission to
Israel this year. One highlight of the
trip was a ceremony on Masada
honoring all of the b'nai mitzvah on
the mission.
