Dear Friends:

Tamarack Camps wants every American Jewish male and female student in 12th grade or in college to con-
sider working at camp this summer. Camps across North America are having difficulty attracting American
Jewish young adults.

university student to graduate in four years, therefore...

A In the competitive job market, students feel the need to take
summer internships.

A Parents encourage their children to get "a real job". They want their
children to make money by working in the city.

A Demographics in North America show fewer Jewish students
ages 18-22 available today as compared to 10 years ago (This
trend will change around 2005).

We have raised the salaries by $200.00 a person

have added a $100.00 "finders fee" for every successful
staff referral.
- We will be giving out $2,000 university scholarships to 15 Jewish
American staff who complete 3 years as staff at camp.

We will travel across the United States and visit Hillels and
University camp fairs to hire the best American Jewish staff.

We will be advertising on the web.

All returning staff will be invited to our staff reunions and receive a
special gift for returning to camp.
