benefit JARC at Luxury Lanes in
Ferndale.
The highlight of the event was
a 300 game bowled by Mike

are planning to form a Michigan
chapter. As an opening event, the
group is holding a Healthier Latkes
cooking demonstration.
The event will be held 6 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 29, at Healthy Harvest
aft, 5130 Coolidge, Royal Oak.
Chef Jim D'Annunzio will teach
how to prepare low-fat latkes, includ-
ing vegan varieties.
The charge of $10 includes the
class, latke tasting and recipes. Bean
soup, salads and beverages will be
available for purchase.
