20 years, Benson Ford Jr., as Francee's
guest ... Something more sparked for
them at the picnic ... resulting in a
romance that led to their July mar-
riage at Temple Shir Shalom.
Shir Shalom is currently taking
care of a little Torah from the Spanish
Inquisition era that was given to
Francee as a wedding present ... from
her new husband.
Whatever was in the air at that pic-
nic also landed on Irene's daughter,
Terri Cassels, at whose Camp Nehula
in Ortonville, the Labor Day shindig
is always held, and Gary Cooper, son
of Rose and George Cooper ... Gary
had come with his parents, friends
with Irene and Nate for 47 years, and
with Terri all his life ... They were
married, Sept. 5.
As individuals, the four ... Francee,
Benson, Terri and Gary ... have been
friends for many years ... Both cou-
ples have another thing in common ...
Not together, but all went to Paris on
their honeymoons.
25TH ANNIVERSARY of Blue
Danube restaurant on Ottawa Street
in Windsor, is being celebrated by
owners Zora and Sam Popadic

created by Sam ... The Strolling

Danube Friday and Saturdays from
