enjoys cheerleading, dancing, skiing
and the performing arts. Her most
meaningful mitzvah projects were vol-
unteering for a JARC fund-raiser and
donating to Children's Hospital.

Temple Beth El marked a special b'nai
mitzvah ceremony.

Joshua
Zupmore
of West
Bloomfield
and his
grandfa-
ther Earle
Mostyn
shared the
Torah hon-
ors on Friday, Oct. 29.
Participating in the ceremony
were Aaron's parents, Wendi
Zupmore and Marc Zupmore; sisters
Sara and Arielle; Earle's wife, Elaine;
as well as their other children,
Michael and Robin Mostyn, David
and Rhonda Mosryn and Corey
Mosryn. Aaron is also the grandson
of Audrey Zupmore and the late
Bernard Zupmore.
Aaron, an eighth-grade honor stu-
dent at Orchard Lake Middle School
in West Bloomfield, plays in the
school's symphony and jazz bands. He
also enjoys soccer, in-line hockey,
spending time on AOL and eBay and
summers at Camp Tamarack. Aaron is
a member of the Temple Berh El Kids
Klezmer Band, which has been select-
ed to play onstage at Disney World in
December.
Aaron's mitzvah projects included
playing with his band at the Danto
Family Health Care Center and
Fleischman Residence, working at
the Temple Beth El coat drive, help-
ing homeless families through
Orchards Children's Services and vol-
unteering at Yad Ezra and City of
Hope offices.

Alan Reuben Barnosky of Grosse Ile
became a bar mitzvah at Beth Isaac
Synagogue in Trenton on Oct. 16. He
is the son of Dr.
Andrew and Barbara
Barnosky and the
brother of Adrienne
and Adam. He is
the grandson of
Warren and Thekla
Kahn. He is also the
grandson of the late
Godfrey and
Dorothy Barnos
Alan is an honor student at Grosse
Ile Middle School. He enjoys playing
baseball and guitar.
