Learning Minyan For Women Meeting Focus: Women's Health Eilu Eilu, the adult Jewish learning project of the Detroit Conservative movement, has announced plans for a new Rosh Chodesh learning format for women, a morning minyan with prayer, study and music. It will start with Rosh Chodesh Kislev, Wednesday, Nov. 10. Congregation Beth Shalom in Oak Park hosts each minyan starting at 9 a.m. It includes a full Shacharit service for Rosh Chodesh, including Torah reading with explanations of the various parts of the service. Leading the service for Kislev will be Ruth Marcus of Beth Shalom. Ruthellen. Singer of Adat Shalom Synagogue will be the Torah reader. Susan Krakoff of Congregation Shaarey Zedek will explain portions of the service and teach the study session at the conclusion of the service. The next minyan at Beth Shalom will be on Rosh Chodesh Tevet, Friday, Dec. 10, from 9-10:30 a.m. Eilu Eilu is underwritten by Adat Shalom, Beth Abraham Hillel Moses, Beth Shalom, B'nai Moshe, Hillel Day School, Shaarey Zedek and the Women's League for Conservative Judaism- Michigan Branch.
