Davidoff, chief operating officer of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, has been appointed by the Oakland County Board of Commissioners to the 12- member board of the county's Community Health Authority for a term ending in March 2001. The mission of the authority, which oversees the county's $170 million mental health system, is to provide Oakland County citizens with "a system of quality behavioral health care which promotes dignity, independence and community par- ticipation." Davidoff, who has been with the Federation since 1992, formerly worked in the health care industry.
