Hebrew Classes
Coming To JPM

The Jimmy Prentis Morris Building of
the Jewish Community Center in Oak
Park is offering two seven-week Hebrew
classes with instructor Shulamith
Leichtman. Both series start Thursday,
Nov. 11. Leichtman has been teaching
Hebrew for 30 years in both day and
supplementary school settings.
"Beginning Hebrew," from 7-8 p.m.,
will teach students the basics of Hebrew
reading and writing as well as conversa-
tional Hebrew.
"Intermediate Hebrew," from 8:15-
9:15 p.m., will review the basics of
Hebrew reading and writing. Students
will acquire skills to converse in Hebrew
and begin mastering the mechanics of
the language.
The charge for each class is $35 for
JCC members; $47 for non-members.
