The Rehovot, Israel, campus marks its 50th anniversary this week. The hope is that the Davidson Institute becomes an incubator for programs and materials that raise the bar for science teaching worldwide. "Today, and in the future, Israel's greatest national resource is the knowledge and creativity of its peo- ple," said Davidson, president and CEO of the Auburn Hills-based Guardian Industries, managing part- ner of the Detroit Pistons and an owner of the Palace of Auburn Hills.
