games, I know whom I was with.
On this last trip, I sat with my 20-
year-old nephew Brent. We had lousy
seats, so we moved around the ball-
park. Sitting in left held one inning,
behind home plate for another. And
with my morn — his grandmother
during the closing ceremonies.
It was a day for families and mem-
ories. We took pictures and laughed
and maybe cried a little, too. We
talked of Dad and how much he
would have enjoyed sharing this day
with his loved ones.
We knew Dad had the best seat, as
always.
It felt like home.

Sports Classes
At The JCC

Girls' and women's sports are being
offered by the Jewish Community
Center's "Hey Mom! The Ball's in
Your Court" program.
Club Girl Power for girls in grades
1-3 builds physical and socialization
skills through jumping, running,
bending and balancing skills. Club
Girl Power II offers the basics of
sports such as basketball, soccer, vol-
leyball and fitness.
Girls basketball for grade 4 teaches
fundamentals.
Classes and leagues are available to
children as young as 4. Basic in-line
skating classes teach falling safely,
turning and skating forward.
Children will play tag, relay race,
have skating games and practice skills.
League play includes basic instruc-
tion. Adult in-line classes are also
available.
In-line skating and other sports and
recreation classes will begin Sunday,
Nov. 7, at both JCC buildings.
