strong interest in snow skiing, soc-
cer, baseball and sailing. He has
enjoyed summers at Tamarack and
the Great Lakes Yacht Club compet-
itive sailing program.
Lindsay Jennifer Zeitlin will
become a bat mitzvah at Temple
Israel on Friday,
Oct. 15. She is the
daughter of Lisa
and Barry Zeitlin
and sister of David
and Carly. Proud
grandparents are
Barbara and
Danny Allen and
Milton and Helen
Faye. She is also the grandchild of
the late Allen Zeitlin.
Among her mitzvah projects,
Lindsay volunteered at Fleischman
Residence and worked with younger
children at Temple Israel. An honor
roll student at Walled Lake Middle
School, Lindsay enjoys playing the
piano, basketball, softball, art and
dance.
David Klein Zussman of
Huntington Woods will be called to
the Torah as a bar
mitzvah on Friday,
Oct. 15, at Temple
Emanu-El. He is
the son of Julie and
Richard Zussman
and will be joined
by brother Adam
and sister Emily.
Very proud grand-
parents are Milt
and Lois Zussman of Bloomfield
Hills, Dick and Kathy Hibbs of
Stockton, Mo., and Donald Evans of
West Des Moines, Iowa. He is also
the grandson of the late Mary P.
Evans.
David is an eighth-grade honor
student at Detroit Country Day in
Beverly Hills, where he plays on the
indoor and outdoor soccer teams.
He is also the goalie for the Novi Ice
Cats PeeWee AA hockey team.
David's mitzvah projects included
helping with the Purim carnival at
Temple Emanu-El, helping at the
Huntington Woods pool, filling
backpacks for needy children to
assist the National Council of
Jewish Women and helping at the
ice cream social at Burton
Elementary School in Huntington
Woods.
