RoseRita and Sheldon A. Goldman of
Bloomfield Hills will be honored at a
tribute dinner 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2, at
the synagogue. The tribute is held under
the auspices of the Greater Metro
Detroit State of Israel Bonds campaign.
The Goldmans will receive the
Declaration of Independence Award in
recognition of their leadership in the
Jewish community and their support of
Israel.
"Through word and deed, they have
set an outstanding example of commit-
ment to Israel and causes of Jewish con-
cern," said Lawrence A. Wolfe, bonds
general chair.
Sheldon Goldman is former board
chair and past general chair of Israel
Bonds' Detroit campaign. He's a mem-
ber of Israel Bonds' national campaign
cabinet.
Goldman's communal service and
support extends to Men's ORT, Zionist
Organization of America, Jewish
Community Center, Jewish Vocational
Center and Israel Tennis Centers.
RoseRita Goldman has been active
with ORT, Hadassah and National
Council of Jewish Women. She has
served on the boards of Federation
Women's Division, National Council of
Jewish Women and Detroit Chapter of
American Technion Society.
She also is president of the Sinai
Guild of Sinai-Grace Hospital, serves on
the Jewish Federation's Board of
Governors and is a box rd member of the
Detroit Medical Genre is northwestern
region.
