But with lower prices. Both being osterias, customers can expect to see casual- garbed folks mingling with others who prefer a more dressed-up look ... They seem to be Joe's alternative to his higher ticket Andiamo West, Bloomfield Hills; and Andiamo Italia, Warren, operations ... without the long lines and wait, too. What's next for Joe Vicari? ... HE HAS MELLOWED a bit ... but hard-working comic wit, Don Rickles, still puts on a terrific show that has people laughing and applaud- ing with continuous enthusiasm. Rickles was here recently for two nights at Andiamo Italia :Celebrity Showroom in Warren ... and wowed the 700 or so who came to see him. On opening night, when not cut- ting up, his serious asides from the stage were to thank Joe Nederlander for the wonderful help Joey and the Nederlanders have been to him ... And to - tell. Pistons owner, Bill Davidson, how much of a basketball fan he is ... Joey and Bill were at the same table with David and Doreen Hermelin, Graham and Sally Orley, Joe and Sue Orley, Paul Borman, and Walter and Marilyn Walpin. Rickles also recognized Chuck Daley, former Pistons coach, there with wife, Terry; former Detroit Lions linebacker, coach and football hall of famer Joe Schmidt; and Ron Kramer, former Green Bay Packer all-pro end. Rickles is used to the warm and gracious laughter ... and as usual appreciated his audience this evening ... Marty Goldman, Dick Scott, Linda and Barry Solomon, Itzie and Vivian Lieberman (son of former Raleigh House catering genius, Sammy and Ida Lieberman) and so many others.
