Members of 25 local synagogues
and organizations on erev Yom
Kippur were asked to bring bags
filled with food to provide for those
in need. The project is volunteer
based; from everyone who donates
food, to those working with Yad
Ezra to transport the donated food
to Yad Ezra's warehouse and those
who sort, box and shelve the prod-
ucts in preparation
=for distribution.
Throughout the
year, there are about
t,'150 people who vol-

pantry. Andy Zack,
a Congregation Beth
Shalom member and
a third-year volun-
teer at Yad Ezra,
chooses to help
because he sees "few

Mike Rich, Yad Ezra board member,

ground is HMD's Margareta
