ERVIN GOLDING, 84, of Southfield,
died Sept. 21. Mr. Golding was a home
improvement salesman.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy
Golding; sons and daughters-in-law
Howard and Beth Golding of Parkland,
Fla., Robert and Dr. Leslie Golding of
Farmington Hills; grandchildren Jordan and
Ashley Golding, Jennifer and Paul
Silverman, Brian Golding; brother-in-law

FAY GREENBERG, 84, of Bloomfield
Hills, died Sept. 20.
Mrs. Greenberg is survived by her sisters-
in-law and brother-in-law, Jennie Abrams,
Anne and George Waldman, Rae Peltz;
many nieces and nephews.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Pincus "Pinky" Greenberg, the loving sister
of the late Celia Brown, the late Marshall
Abrams and the late Mitchell Abrams; the
dear sister-in-law of the late Dorothy
Abrams.
Interment was at Machpelah Cemetery.

CEIL JONAS, 94, of Southfield, died Sept.
24.
Mrs. Jonas was a social worker and
also worked at the Wayne County
Abstract Department. She graduated from
Central High School at age 14; at 19 she
was the youngest graduate from Wayne
University and was accepted at Vassar
College but legally could not live in a
dorm at that age.
Mrs. Jonas was a life member of
Hadassah, and active with the Jewish War
Veterans and Women's American ORT. She
was one of the founders and served as social
secretary of the Congregation Shaarey
Zedek Seniors group. She was very active in
the Democratic Party.
She is survived by her son and daughter-
in-law, Lawrence and Shirley Jonas of
Southfield; grandchildren Franklin and
Joseph Jonas.
Mrs. Jonas was the beloved wife of the
late Sol Jonas and the dear sister of the late
Jules Sanders, the late Sam Sanders and the
late Florence Sanders.
Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.

HARRIET E. KANTER, 69, of West
Bloomfield, died Sept. 27.
Mrs. Kanter was a teacher in the Detroit

Sydney Geller of West Bloomfield; daugh-
ter-in-law Paula Kaplan; grandchildren
Scott Kaplan, Brandon Kaplan, Eric

Mrs. Kaplan was the loving mother of
the late Jeffrey Kaplan; loving sister of the
late Claire Schall, the late Rae Schindler, the
late Jean Geer.
