Amy (Weiner) and Cary Stein of
Northbrook, Ill., are thrilled to
announce the birth of their first child,
Jeremy Ian (Arye Label). Excited grand-
parents are Sheila and Harold Guz of
Boynton Beach, Fla., Susan and Jerry
Weiner of West Bloomfield and Jeanne
and Michael Stein of Northbrook.
Jeremy is named for his great-grandfa-
thers Irving Stein and Lew Weiner and
his great-uncle Leon Forman.

Elizabeth (Betsy) Shapiro and Amos
Gelb of Washington, D.C., are delighted
to announce the birth of their daughter,
Eliya Ruth Shapiro Gelb. Welcoming
Eliya home is big sister Noa. Proud
grandparents are Susan Shapiro of
Bloomfield Hills, Dr. Donald Shapiro of
