Miami — The Miami Heat will be
the first National Basketball
Association team to schedule an exhi-
bition game in Israel.
The Heat will play perennial Israeli
champion Maccabi in an Oct. 11
game in Tel Aviv.
The NBA exhibition season begins
Oct. 10 and also includes games in
Italy and Mexico.
