GIN OSTA This August, Hadar will visit the Camp Mak-A-Dream for the first time. He says his brother's enthusiasm convinced him it was an experience he should not miss. "Harry lives this camp 24 hours a day," says Hadar. "He'll meet with anyone, anytime, if he thinks it will help the camp. Hadar Granader admires his brother's energy and commitment, especially at an age when many people would be slowing down and taking life easy. "He's an example of what you can do if you have the energy and the right mental outlook," he says. "It's all in the attitude, and Harry has a terrific attitude." The greatest rewards for Harry are not the accolades, but the letters he receives each year from the children who attend Camp Mak-A-Dream. For many, it is their first camping experience, and the first place where they feel they are just like everyone else. "These letters are what inspire us and make us want to do more," he says. "God still wants me to do a lot of good deeds. Right now I'm so far behind that I'm going to be on this earth for a long time." At least 200 children with cancer are hoping he's right. ■ COSMETIC SURGERY SOMERSET MEDICAL GROUP 3290 W BIG BEAVER SUITE 410, TROY 248-816-6330 wwwfreedlandmd.com 156 (800) 728-6618 JNSourceBook
