Pearl-Colman

Dr. Jack Pearl of West Bloomfield and
Ms. Faye Pearl of San Diego announce
the engagement of their daughter Julie
to Mr. Fred Colman, son of Dr. and
Mrs. Richard Colman of Chevy Chase,
Md.
Ms. Pearl has degrees from Stanford
and Harvard universities and a juris
doctor from Hastings College of Law.
She is managing attorney of Munro,
Nelson and Pearl, an international busi-

ness law firm in San Francisco.
Mr. Colman graduated from the
University of Michigan with a bachelor
of science and a master of science
degree and has devoted his career to
developing state-of-the-art medical
devices. He is vice president of research
and development for Therasense in
Alameda, Calif.
An October wedding is planned in
the San Francisco area.

Krut-Yovis

Dana Ellen Yovis and Joshua David
Krut were recently married at the Ritz
Carlton Hotel in Dearborn. Rabbi
David Castiglione and Cantor Stephen
Dubov of Temple Beth El officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Arlene
and Leonard Yovis of West Bloomfield.
The groom is the son of Faye and
Michael Krut of Farmington Hills.
Gayle Yovis, sister of the bride, was
the maid of honor. Karyn Yovis-Faye,
sister of the bride, was the matron of
honor. Eden Faye, niece of the bride,
was the flower girl. Bridesmaids were

Kari Alterman, Julie Tracht, Nancy
Stein, Julia Belkowitz and Lara Wiskin.
Robert Krut, brother of the groom, was
the best man. Groomsmen were Stuart
Faye, brother-in-law of the bride;
Sammy Faye, nephew of the bride; Ariel
Boyman, P.J. Cherrin, Seth Faber and
Ryan Kaluzny.
Dana and Josh were honored to have
grandparents Simon Schwarzberg and
Morris and Sally Krut participate in the
ceremony.
The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in
Spain and now reside in Chicago.
