Q : How do I choose an Oriental Rug for my borne?
A : All Oriental rugs are not created equal. Some are

hand-tied wool or silk, others machine-made and may have
synthetic fibers. Prices also vary considerably from a few
hundred dollars to thousands. To find the right rug for you,
educate yourself. Do research, ask questions and determine
your budget. size and color. Stroke the carpet to test the
nap and texture. Thoroughly inspect for damage checking
the front and back of a rug. Generally, smaller, tighter knots
indicate finer quality rugs. In today's auction market, buyers
are getting a lot of rug for their money. Choose a design and
color you like and try to buy the best you can afford.
With good care, quality rugs hold their value.
