Proud grandparents are Malcolm
and Millie Kurepa. Jordan is also
the granddaughter of the late Max
and May Nosanchuk.
Jordan is a student at Cranbrook
Kingswood School in Bloomfield
Hills. She enjoys all school subjects,
especially English and French. Her
favorite activity is dancing. Jordan
has been active in a variety of com-
munity service projects in and out-
side of temple.

Ryan Yoshimura Shields was called
to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, Aug. 28,
at Temple Beth El.
He is the son of
Tony Shields and
Fayth Yoshimura
and brother of
Lauren. His proud
grandparents are
Richard and
Floraine Shields
and Katherine Yoshimura. He is
also the grandson of the late
Richard Yoshimura.
Ryan is an honor student at
Bloomfield Hills Middle School. He
enjoys drama, forensics, track and
Japanese lessons. As part of his
mitzvah project, he worked at Yad
Ezra.

Bradley Aaron Stulberg chanted
from the Torah atop Masada as he
commemorated his
bar mitzvah in
Israel this summer.
He will again be
called to the Torah
on Friday evening,
Sept. 3, at Temple
Israel.
Brad is the son
of Linda and Bob
Stulberg of Farmington Hills. His
proud younger brother is Eric. Brad
is the grandson of Belle and the late
Larry Brenners, Lois and the late
David Stulberg. He is the great-
grandson of Betty and the late Abe
Weinstein, Clara and the late Max
Stulberg.
Brad is an honors student at
Warner Middle School in
Farmington Hills. He is an avid
sports enthusiast, enjoying basket-
ball, baseball, football, golf and ski-
ing. He also loves music and plays
saxophone.
Brad learned that mitzvah is a
way of life. Over the past two years
he has been a special friend to a
special friend and will continue to
